For over a decade, the PRmoment Awards, in association with headline sponsor Opinium Research, have celebrated and rewarded outstanding campaigns, agencies, and exceptional talent across the UK public relations and communications sector. Recognised as one of the top accolades in public relations, our awards programme offers a benchmark of professional distinction, backed by rigorous evaluation, commercial integrity, and an uncompromised commitment to merit-based recognition.
1. Industry Recognition and Longevity
Established in 2011, the PRmoment Awards have spent over a decade celebrating and benchmarking the highest standards of UK communications across regional and national landscapes. By dividing entries across the UK, spanning London, the South, the Midlands, the North, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, we evaluate agencies and teams within their specific operational frameworks, providing clear, fair comparisons.
Winning a PRmoment Award provides independent endorsement from a panel representing a true "who's who" of UK public relations. Leading agency heads, corporate communications directors, and brand leads evaluate our entries. Winning entries reflect real-world business impact, creative vision, and operational excellence, delivering trusted third-party validation that helps winners attract top-tier talent and secure new business.
2. Transparent Judging Processes
We believe that industry awards must operate without mystery. Our multi-stage judging process relies on clear criteria, strict confidentiality protocols, and systematic pre-scoring.
- Expert Panels: Judges are selected for their extensive industry expertise. Panels read, evaluate, and independently pre-score all assigned entry forms alongside up to three supporting documents.
- Conflict of Interest Protocols: Transparency is maintained at every step. Judges are recused from scoring any category entered by their own organisation or clients and have no access to competing submissions in those categories.
- Standardised Scoring System: Every entry is marked on an objective 1-to-10 scale across clearly defined headings:
- Campaign Objectives
- Strategy
- Creativity
- Implementation & Activation
- Results & Evaluation
- Why Your Entry Should Win
- Deliberation & Consensus: Pre-scores generate the official shortlist. Judges then convene to debate high-scoring entries and determine final category winners.
3. Merit-Based Winners: Zero Pay-to-Win Influence
The PRmoment Awards operate on commercial integrity and merit. Commercial partnerships, and sponsorships never influence entry scoring or winner selection.
- Sponsorship Separation: Sponsors have zero influence over judging panels or final scoring outcomes.
- Strict Evaluation Criteria: Shortlists and trophies are awarded purely based on the quality of work, proof of audience insight, innovative execution, and evidence-based results.
- Equal Opportunity for Agencies of All Sizes: Structured fee structures, specialised categories for micro-agencies (under £500k fee income), boutique agencies, and independent consultancies ensure that smaller boutique practices compete on an equal footing against large international agencies.
